Galena Park city officials responded to flooding at the entrance of the Galena Manor subdivision. The flooding occurred after heavy rainfall in the Houston area. It was reported near Clinton Drive around 10 p.m. and caused standing water to block part of the area.
City officials, including the mayor, police chief, and public works crews, were on the scene to manage the flooding. Crews worked to pump out the water. The flooding is a recurring issue due to drainage problems, and the city has plans to address these concerns.
