A museum in the Netherlands has paid tribute to a late Dutch artist by covering its floor in a large amount of peanut butter. The artist, Wim T. Schippers, had created a similar work in 1969. He was known for his unconventional approach to art and other pursuits, including voicing characters in the Dutch version of a popular children's show.
The peanut butter installation is part of a two-month show at a museum in Rotterdam. It is a recreation of Schippers' earlier work, using over 800 pounds of peanut butter.
