A police investigation in west Houston led to an officer shooting a suspect. The incident occurred on Westheimer Road. Details are still emerging, but it is known that a patrol officer checked a vehicle's license plate and found it was linked to a stolen car.
The suspect refused to exit the vehicle despite repeated commands from officers. After about 25 minutes, the suspect made a movement that caused concern among the officers. This led to an officer firing shots and striking the suspect.
