A hospital in South Texas is under investigation by the state. The probe was ordered by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Allegations have surfaced that the hospital was involved in a scheme related to "birth tourism".
The hospital is accused of illegally marketing "birth packages" to foreign nationals. This was allegedly done to profit from birth tourism. Governor Abbott has ordered an immediate investigation into the matter.
